QM 2 Queens Grill Lunch on Embarkation Day

Does anyone know when lunch is served in Queens Grill on embarkation day?

If memory serves the Grills are open until 2 or 2:30PM on embarkation day in New York. It's one of the great perks of the Grills - to be served as a lady or gentleman rather than line up as in a high school cafeteria.

When we sailed from NYC on August 27, 2014, the Grills were open for lunch from 1:00pm to 2:30pm. Bon appétit.

Yes, it was opened for us too and the time was 1:00 PM on embarkation day.

Its also a good idea to check out your table assignment at lunch, and ask for any required changes before dinner.

We always request a table for six and always board early and take lunch in the restaurant shortly after it opens at 1:00. Except for one occasion five trips back we were the only ones at our assigned table at that first lunch. I recall that some members of this forum "size up their table companions" at the first meal and request a change if they are not comfortable. I have never made a request for a change, either because of the location of the table or my fellow passengers. I've enjoyed the company of all of them.
