Diamond and Platinum Exclusive Offer?

Logged into my profile at Carnival.com to check on our upcoming cruise, and under My Special Offers, I see "Diamond and Platinum Exclusive Offer - from $25" but the link goes to a "oops, broken" page and doesn't actually show anything?

Does anyone else have this?

After trying the link again and again, I found the link that went to VIFP club special offers and found the two "special offer" cruises. Yeah, $25 with onboard credit sounds good - but I am NOT interested in flying across the country for a 2 night cruise to Mexico. I have read about all the free cruises the past few months - people got nice deals for long cruises from nearby or easy to fly to ports. Now with this new "offer" the best thing I have ever been offered was this lame $25 two day cruise that would probably cost thousands to fly to. No thanks Carnival . . . I was hoping you could do better than that.

I called this morning and they could not even access the deal! Only told me Dec 1 through Jan 31 travel dates but had no particulars and to try again later. Don't they realize this just AGGRAVATES the heck out of us???

Update: log on and put travel dates Dec 2014 - Jan 2015 - no other particulars. Only 2 cruises come up as $25 interior cabin. 3 day cruise out of LA. What a stupid promotion to send to ALL of your Diamond Platinum Cruisers. Fa-get-about-it!

All I see is the 2 night cruises out of LA and they are a month apart. Ran the air fares, $700, and 2 nights in a hotel would be $200 (at least). This offer was not planned for anyone who does not live in LA. Like normal just another waste of time.

The whole CCL site is crazy today! My Feb. cruise countdown is now showing 16482 days to sailing!!:p Can't access any of my offers. I do see the Diamond/Plat deal listed, but can't get into it, along with being unable to get into my casino/Premier cruise offers!

Yes, it's hanging up. But much of the info is at the top of the page anyway.

"Two Limited Sailings on Carnival Imagination: 12/18/14 & 1/29/15"

That's the first thing I saw while waiting for the page to (not) load.

Then, if you click on the Terms and Conditions, you get more details.

I was able to access it. And book it. Well, hold it for 24 hours. I'm thinking about this.

I've got 4 words for those of you who can't go because of flight prices. Airline Mile Credit Cards. My biggest issue with catching deals used to be the flight cost, because there are almost never really good deals out of Galveston, my close port. No more. I got a handy dandy airline mile credit card, which I use for everything in the world I can possibly use it for, pay it off each month, and viola, free flights whenever I want to go. For this trip, flight from Houston to LA will run me $11.20.

Anyway, I don't know if I'll really go or not. Anyone available to come sleep at my house for a few nights to make sure the teenagers that live here don't think it's a free for all over here? :p

THANK YOU for posting this! My family is already booked on the Imagination for Jan 25-29; now we can add this promo and extend our cruise on the cheap.

First-ever promotion offer, resulting in our first-ever B2B. No, it's not an exciting offer like I've seen so many others post, but at this point I'm just grateful to get anything!

I got the same offer this morning. I'm not about to spend $600+ to fly across country for a 2 night cruise. Imagination is my least favorite ship.

If the offer was for a Florida port, the west coast Platinum & Diamond cruisers would be whining too. It's an offer from Carnival, not an obligation. No need to take it personal.

And no, I'm not Platinum or Diamond but I am grateful for any offers. You never know, one day I might just be able to take Carnival up on one of them and get closer to the status that so many of you seem to covet, personally I couldn't care less what color my card is. The most fun people on cruises have blue cards...they are excited for their first one!

Heck, I'd be happy to live within driving distance to a port. I guess Seattle is only 4-5 hours away but doing Alaska once was enough for me.

Smile everyone and have a great week! :)

I could get a Ov for $70 solo but add in the taxes etc it added up to $150 for 2 days.

Copyofth_Carnival-VIFP-Platinum_zps41db4d4e1_zps02e438c7.jpgI still cruise for Warm Chocolate Melting Cake (with 2 sugar-free vanilla ice-creams)

Doesn't it seem like the taxes on the short Baja cruises are high? Last January on the 4-day cruise we paid $57 in fees/taxes and next January it is $86. I had a bit of sticker shock on that.
