There are many great breakfast locations in Long Beach and it depends on what type of transportation you have.

 

My personal likes include Schooner or Later in the Long Beach Marina by Seaport Village. Depending on the weather you can sit outside and enjoy a very good breakfast.

 

Of course deciding what is a great breakfast is subjective.:)

Just south of Long Beach is Sunset Beach. Harbor House Cafe on PCH is a great breakfast place. Been going there for 30 years.

I forgot to mention the Harbor House, we started going there over 40 years ago, great food. Another great place for breakfast is The River's End on the beach in Seal Beach, but it is not open for breakfast in the winter. :)

ABSOLUTELY! Have been there every time for breakfast in Long Beach. Amazing. Locals go there. It's good. :)

Yes, the passport runs in the morning--are you just trying to get to the Omelette Inn? Or somewhere else?

My favorite places for breakfast are Hof's Hut and Polly's--but neither are near downtown on the free portion of the Passport.

We have 3 breakfasts in Long Beach area... Thank you for the bus schedule. Omelette Inn does sound appealing, although I imagine we can try a taxi, too, and eat at various places.

Where are you staying? We easily walked to The Omelette Inn from both the Hyatt and the Renaissance.

We will be at Queen Mary for one night before our cruise and at the Hyatt Regency for two nights afterward. Sounds like we should do the Omelette Inn after the cruise as it will be in walking distance then.
