wine carried on since Aug. 5 new liquor rule?

Recommended Posts

To those who have cruised since Aug. 5: Did you notice any difference in allowing the carrying-on of a few bottles of wine? We have done 8 RCI cruises, and I have always brought a few bottles in my carry-on luggage with no problem whatever. Hoping that is still the case.

Two cases of champagne, each in it's own bag, on the 8/14 Mariner sailing. No problems.

I carried on our usual three bottles and packed three more. No problems. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Bupkus. Zero. Nil.

Ditto

We had some in the luggage and one champagne in our carry-on. No one raised an eyebrow.

It is the don’t ask – don’t tell approach.

Cheers

Marci
