MrsK Posted January 25, 2015 #377 Share Posted January 25, 2015 I was on this tour with you. It was a great tour and very informative. I even sort of made it into this picture :D That's me, hiding behind the head. The one on the left with the dark sleeve of a tshirt showing and glasses. travelgoddess1 Posted January 26, 2015 #381 Share Posted January 26, 2015 Bill, good shots from the tour, especially the shoreside homes and yachts. Definitely some big money there. I liked the one of Oasis under the 17th St. bridge! :)

Quilting Queen Posted January 26, 2015 #383 Share Posted January 26, 2015 Bill was the FLL tour from the ship or independant? We would be interested in something like that instead of sitting at the airport for 7-8 hours. Norine

Norine Norine, We used the ship's excursion, it was $59 pp. It may be cheaper with an independent but we went with the convenience of using Royal. They had us get luggage tags #1 from our stateroom attendant and we were off the ship by 8.

It's one of those things - Use it or Lose it. It won't be available foruse in the casino. Check out the FAQ on the Royal web site. Norine

daisyaday46 Posted March 8, 2015 #392 Share Posted March 8, 2015 Thank you for taking the time to post a great review Bill. It is always a joy to read your reports. Marie is very photogenic and the happiness she portrays always brings a smile to my face. We have had a major weather event in our part of the world and had no power for a whole week. I had saved your review to read on a day I could relax and I have really enjoyed catching up, Thank you again.

travelgoddess1 Posted March 8, 2015 #400 Share Posted March 8, 2015 FYI I was able to take out my non-refundable OBC at the casino and pay the 5% fee. Exactly right, you can take the cash from the casino cashier. It is better to pay the 5% fee than to lose the OBC. We have never had a problem doing this, and just withdrew cash on our February cruise. :)
