xyankee Posted January 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2015 We were on the CB back in September and stayed in a suite. We got a free dinner at the Crown Grill the first night of the cruise as one of the suite benefits. We will be back on the CB next month and was wondering if this benefit to still being offered. KruzeKrazy! Posted January 18, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 18, 2015 Yes. Specialty restaurant on embarkation night is comp for suite guests. It is a slow night for them plus it exposes the specialty outlets to suite holders who are presumed to have a meaningful chance to book and pay for them again. Sent from my iPhone using Cruise Critic Forums mobile app We received that perk on a 5 day (Ruby Princess out of FLL) last November. I wasn't expecting it but I didn't question it either :D. I wasn't expecting it but I didn't question it either :D.It is a stated perk for cruises of six days or longer. We received the free dinner on a 4 day on the Sapphire out of San Pedro last year as you did on a 5 day but there is no guarantee. If the cruise is 6 days or longer you will get the free dinner. If it is 5 days or less you might get a free dinner but you shouldn't expect it. Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app

PSR Posted January 19, 2015 #8 Share Posted January 19, 2015 How do you get notification of the comped dinner? Is there a notice in your cabin, or do you have to schedule it pre-cruise?

Belle Posted January 20, 2015 #11 Share Posted January 20, 2015 When we had the suite they called us on the phone and asked us what time we wanted for that night. Been in the room just a few hours, called before muster.
