Not that it will make a huge difference, but does ncl meet and greet have complementary alcohol beverages and snacks or just soft drinks and snacks? Just curious as most of the other lines we have been on provide beverages that are alcohol drinks for an hour or so.

Which lines provide free alcohol drinks at the meet and greet?

Last time we were on Carnival and Celebirty they provided them. albeit a few years ago.

Are you sure you didn't pay whatever amount the meet and greet organizer asked agreeing patrons to pay? The one I went on with the Carnival Liberty was $11.44 p/p and it lasted an hour in a closed off area.

All others that I've been to had no alcohol served without immediate payment.

All the meet & greets I've been to on NCL were held in the morning, usually 11am. There has never been a charge. The drinks were coffee/tea, juice, water.

NCL does serve alcohol at the Latitudes receptions and other VIP events, but they're held in the evening.

All of the Meet 'n Greets we've attended over the years have always been held in bars or lounges on the ship. You are always able to purchase an alcoholic beverage if you wanted one, but on your dime, not NCL's. The Latitudes parties are different. At those, NCL buys! :D

Hosted a M & G (Mingle) on the NCL DAWN 1/11 sailing out of New Orleans.

M&G was held on the 2nd (sea) day at 11:00am in the Star Bar adjacent to

Cagneys on Deck 13. Had around 25 in attendance and NCL furnished the

coffee; tea; water; orange juice and a variety of breakfast pastries.

The bar was closed!

The event featured the Captain - Hotel Director - Restaurant Director -

Concierge (many attendees were in suites) - Cruise Director - and other

chief cooks and bottle washers. Good to meet and know these people if

a special request is to be honored or service required.

The event lasted for about an hour with everyone having a chance to ask

questions of the crew and plan other mutual event together.

Certainly a worthwhile follow up to the many pages (13) of roll call postings !

If you are planning on hosting one of these functions -

Look at the top of the home page of the forum in "How to - - - - -" and

please give NCL enough notice to pull it off for your group - suggested 1

week or more - the larger the group interest you will need more space and

not all meeting places will be available at a time suitable for you - please

plan ahead. Also the Captain and his crew may not be available if more

events are happening at same time.
