has anyone booked cabin R412 on the Caribbean princess is it noisy and is the balcony large with a lounge chair

R412 is a Penthouse Suite. The balcony should have two lounge chairs, a few upright chairs and a couple of tables. The balcony will be approximately 5' deep x 15' to 18' wide. You may hear some noise from the movement of chiars on the Lido deck above. During the day and evening you may also hear some speaker sounds from Movies Under the Stars (MUTS) which is above the Calypso Reef Pool on the Lido Deck. Movies shut down around 11pm. During warm weather cruises there will be a deck party on the Lido deck one evening with live music. Some of that sound may be heard on the deck below.

We have been in R415 Starboard side! Balcony was narrow, but quite acceptable. Really enjoyed it during sail-away at NYC. As said, 2 lounges, table & 4 chairs.

As for noise, the most noise was at 6:00AM when the crew was rearranging the chairs on the deck above after MUTS from the night before! I heard it every morning but DW seemed to sleep right through it. Over all, it was a great Penthouse Suite and quite comfortable.

We had R412 on the Crown Princess which should be just like that cabin on the Caribbean Princess. We did not have any problem with noise. We had friends in the cabin next to ours on one side and in the 3 suites next to ours on the other side. We had the cabin steward open the balcony divider doors so we could all be together when viewing the scenery in Alaska. It was great.
