Hotel Recommendations Port Canaveral Area

We are planning a cruise out of Port Canaveral and would like recommendations for a hotels for a couple of nights pre-cruise in the $100 - $125 range. Doesn't have to have park and cruise option. All we need is something clean and comfortable.

We like the Residence Inn. It is clean and comfortable and has a complimentary breakfast. If you don't have a car they have a shuttle to the ship for $8/pp but we took a cab. Their shuttle only goes at 11am so you would be stuck with that time.

We just stayed (January 15th) at Country Inn and Suites; free shuttle to ship with park and stay. Only had one car parked, but four of us were shuttled.

We stayed at Country Inn and Suites last week pre-cruise; $124per night Expedia rate. ($150 with taxes).

Shuttle was quick and efficient in AM for $5pp, left at 10:30.

Free breakfast that was good.

Rooms were clean, but dated...worked for us since we had late arrival and only needed a clean place to sleep.

Outdoor Pool and patio looked nice and clean.

 

Note: not much within walking distance except gas station and a fast food restaurant and a beach items type store.

Thanks for the recommendations. Any others, we'll gladly check them out. We do not need parking or a shuttle. Plan on parking at the port itself.

My DH and stayed at the Radisson at the Port in November and I don't think we'll be a repeat customer there.

First, our room wasn't ready, which can sometimes happen, but not ready 2 hours later? Our room, which was reserved and paid for wasn't ready until after 6 pm.

Next, I think it was VERY noisiest room we've ever stayed in.

 

There are lots of moderately priced rooms in the area that would serve you better. We enjoy the La Quinta & Suites Oceanfront- the one near a pier.

 

I just wanted to share.

Consider Best Western by the pier if you are going to stay more than one night. The motels by the port don't have the beach
