Celebrity Debuts World Class Bar for S-Class Ships

Will the new cocktails be included in the premium package, as Molecular was one of the reasons we purchased the package.

 

It should be based on the price of the drinks (as always)....and until they open one of these bars, we won't know how they price.

We won't know until someone currently on the Eclipse (which is the only ship that has been changed over so far) reports back.

Lots of rumors to fill in the blanks, though! :p

Those of you saying "sweet drinks" or "foo-foo" drinks must never have tried many of the offerings at the Molecular Bar . (And now it's too late. :( )

I challenge anyone to say the Black Mamba, Mr. B or Kentucky Derby are "sweet".

Oh, Karen. We asked the bartender to recommend a drink that wasn't sweet and he came up with a Black Mamba. One sip of that drink and we knew we'd never return.

Looks like there are 2 sets of people......those who don't like the

Molecular and those who do.....there might even be folks in the middle

who have never tried it.....so, for those of you who hate it and are happy

to see it leaving? It should be a pleasure for you to see another place.

 

For those of us who are fans and have always found the baternders

friendly and the drinks fun with a good atmosphere.....it is sad. Maybe

the new place will be fun too.....who knows.....but it seems like both

parties try to say the other is wrong alot:(.......if you didn't like it?

Then you should be glad its gone.....and if you did like it? You should

be sad its gone.......

I get the feeling there is so much "one upmanship" about it......:eek:

No, not a specific "folk":) as that would be breaking the rules:eek:.....I am

allowed to debate a topic though:)......and I re-read my post 3

times before I hit submit.....I was making an observation about how

the posts were coming across.....some folks are happy to see it leaving,

some are sad.........but some of the posts seem so.....what would the

word be.....I don't know.....just like lots of topics...I was just posting

my thoughts too.....its like, one has to be right? One has to be wrong?

We actually just upgraded to the Premium package just ahead of this announcement because we enjoyed the Molecular Bar. Unique concoctions- lava salts and dry ice. It was amusing. I found the martini bar crowded and loud - maybe this will help spread the crowd out a bit. I just flat out love cruising and will probably be happy with whatever they come up with . (Although I'm not sure I'd ever upgrade again.). Maybe it's a "Karen" thing- liking the molecular bar.
