Belle Posted April 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 23, 2015 Just because it's weigh-in day..don't frown You might get on the scale and it's down Up or Down today you can smile Then it would be good to walk a mile Exercise is always good for us Everyday But sometimes we only do it day before we weigh Eating right should be done everyday of the week But some days we get a little weak We really are trying to lose our weight Some do it better than some..some of us have to get it straight What is best..is the friends in here are the Tops WE never give up..WE never give up...WE will never Stop Know some are doing good and weighing less Others doing not so good and are a mess Staying the same weeks is a pain But be happy the weeks aren't a gain Know we can do it..get healthy and have happy tears Just takes longer than we thought it would..years (Just think if we didn't try thru our ups and downs in life What would we be weighing by now if we just gave up) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I am doing a workout program that ends the day before we leave for our cruise and they suggest you don't weigh yourself. I am enjoying the strength training portion of it. Cardio, not so much. Stayed the same at 194, and I'm not complaining a bit. Wedding weekend and 12 hours sitting in the car, eating way to much bad stuff - must have been all the dancing at the reception (NO PICTURES OF THAT WILL BE POSTED!) Ready to be done with this remodel because I miss 5k's and normal exercise. Had to pass on the yearly bicycle charity ride 2 weeks ago because I'm too tuckered to train. 1, maybe 2 more weeks but we're almost done. Shower pan gets refinished today and tomorrow, baseboard is pre-painted last night, just needs cut and installed. Then grout the floor and a little around the tub and that is just about it. I'm not sure if I stayed the same from last week. Hubby and I are in our last week of closing his business and we've been working 7 days a week, hard to keep track of everything. Anyway, I know I haven't gained and am still at my lowest I've been in years. We have a wedding in Seattle in 2 weeks and then a cruise in 3 weeks so need to stay on the low side. I'm sure we ALL did the same.. WE were both GOOD and BAD! Now it's Monday..won't say a new start day because we never stop trying to get healthy and lose weight! That was my 1st Carnival ship & I really liked the fun vibe of it. shootr ~ I'm overboard too!:( Had a nice 3 course dinner out to celebrate DH's birthday Friday then went to A Newfie dinner Sat. Jan ~ that's too bad about weight gain but at least you can to lose it & have done it before. Good news about the bp going down. Diana ~ you're doing great! Nice to have a lot to look forward to, makes life interesting. Nice warm day here so I might just take a walk.
