Bookish Angel Posted May 10, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 10, 2015 With apricots, a few chopped walnuts, a teaspoon of brown sugar and some pumpkin seeds. At home, it would be all gluten-free, organic and fair trade. On a ship, I just do the best I can.
trinaM Posted May 27, 2015 Author #6 Share Posted May 27, 2015 I like your oatmeal with walnuts and a bit of dried fruit. I didn't enjoy the soupy quality of the oatmeal onboard star & golden princess.

sherilyn70 Posted May 30, 2015 #8 Share Posted May 30, 2015 Personally I would probably get an Eggs Benedict minus the Canadian ham.
tinkr2 Posted July 10, 2015 #9 Share Posted July 10, 2015 go on Allure. They have a healthy restaurant in the solarium that was outstanding. Tons of veggie options. We ate amazing miso soup every morning with a zillion toppings, But there is nice fruit and oatmeal on every ship.;)
BruceMuzz Posted July 12, 2015 #10 Share Posted July 12, 2015 Vegetarian, but not Vegan: A vegetable/cheese omlet. Is America the only place in the world where cheese is considered a vegetable?
sherilyn70 Posted July 12, 2015 #11 Share Posted July 12, 2015 Is America the only place in the world where cheese is considered a vegetable? I don't know any Americans that consider cheese a vegetable. It's dairy.
capncarp Posted July 12, 2015 #12 Share Posted July 12, 2015 (edited) Is America the only place in the world where cheese is considered a vegetable? Not only is it considered "not a vegetable", more importantly, it is considered "not a meat". Ergo. vegetarian. Ipso facto, quod erat demonstrandum, carthago delenda est.:p For me, a nice multi-cheese and onion omelet with crispy home fries if available, coffee and rye toast with butter, and coffee, plus melon chunks and other fresh fruit for the sweet part. And coffee. Edited July 12, 2015 by capncarp
