ArkTraveler82 Posted June 15, 2015 #51 Share Posted June 15, 2015 There doesn't seem to be any pattern when they are added. But I have more successful getting the cards at AARP than Verizon. AARP I have done late night after 11 or early morning b4 7am EDT. Thank you, I'll just remain diligent then. Hopefully I can eventually snag a few. :)
WyKnott Posted June 15, 2015 #52 Share Posted June 15, 2015 Do you or anyone know how frequently AARP updates or posts new Carnival GCs? I've been watching for them but with no luck. I know AARP posts a new Daily Deal every day at 2:00 but I can't seem to determine any rhyme or reason to their posting gift cards. I've been working on getting my rewards points together and I'm ready to buy! :D I'm on the west coast and always seemed to miss the Carnival gift cards on AARP. However, the last few times they've been available a little later in the morning and I was able to snag some. I check first thing in the morning and then a couple of times before noon. Stay vigilant! BigB0882 Posted June 15, 2015 #53 Share Posted June 15, 2015 (edited) I ordered mine and had them within a week, I think it was 6 days to be exact. Mine were just put in my mailbox, no signature required. I also ordered on the 6th so you should be getting them very soon. I find the phone call to be very odd, I didn't have to verify anything. Maybe that had something to do with your credit/debit card, though? Edited June 15, 2015 by BigB0882

cruizinisthebest Posted June 16, 2015 #55 Share Posted June 16, 2015 I looked AARP and did not see any thing They aren't offered all of the time. It's a game of chase just like with Verizon. They just sold them in Friday. Keep checking. Best luck I've had is early morning. Sent from my SCH-I435 using Tapatalk

snc_cam Posted June 16, 2015 #58 Share Posted June 16, 2015 Can gift cards be used to pay your deposit? I know they can pay off the balance, so I would assume they can be used to pay the initial deposit.

ArkTraveler82 Posted July 1, 2015 #64 Share Posted July 1, 2015 Not sure how long they'll be available, but AARP currently has $100 and $500 gift cards available. From my experience, they go quick, so if you're looking, I'd head over to their website pretty quickly! Good luck!!!

karinad Posted July 3, 2015 #67 Share Posted July 3, 2015 I was also able to get $600 worth. I just discovered them last week and before I had a chance to ask about them here the we're sold out. When I seen them 2 days ago I grabbed them at 2:30a.m. The next day they were gone. I wish I had them when I put the $800 deposit on the cruise. It would be another $80 less! Rare l2f Posted July 4, 2015 #69 Share Posted July 4, 2015 Do these AARP GC have an expiration date and if so how long are they typically?
cruizinisthebest Posted July 4, 2015 #70 Share Posted July 4, 2015 The cards do not have an expiration date. No matter where you get them from. Verizon, AARP, website, retail store, or e-cards. Sent from my SCH-I435 using Tapatalk

cruising maniac Posted July 5, 2015 #73 Share Posted July 5, 2015 So assuming I am lucky enough to snag a couple of AARP cards, do I just call my TA with the numbers and she calls Carnival to pay off my cruise?

cruising maniac Posted July 6, 2015 #75 Share Posted July 6, 2015 I'm still stalking the AARP website for the gift cards. Nothing yet. I have learned a lot taking the little quizzes. Kinda fun. :)
