Rare ladylemondrop Posted August 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2015 My husband and I are planning to upgrade our classic package to premium, however we think the kids will be just fine with classic non alcoholic package, as we dont want them on red bull all week!! Is it ok for just the two of us to upgrade or does everyone sharing a cabin have to be on the same package level? Thank you.
jelayne Posted August 3, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2015 No, everyone in the cabin does not have to upgrade the beverage package.
Wine-O Posted August 3, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2015 I usually upgrade, but my wife doesn't.
Rare ladylemondrop Posted August 3, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted August 3, 2015 Thank you - we only really drink wine, (white) and it looks very limited on classic, so think we will need it to get a decent Sauvignon blanc! :)

happy cruzer Posted August 7, 2015 #6 Share Posted August 7, 2015 Also don't just go be the drink/wine menus, tell the server what you like and they may be able to offer something that works for you. I usually get good recommendations, occasionally it's a miss but it was an included beverage :)
Rare ladylemondrop Posted August 7, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted August 7, 2015 Thank you - we have never used Cellar Masters, but will check that out, and am hoping the servers will assist us - that's all great advice! Getting excited now!

Is it ok for just the two of us to upgrade or does everyone sharing a cabin have to be on the same package level? Thank you. On our last cruise, my husband upgraded to the premium alcoholic package and I downgraded to the Premium non-alcoholic package. We were on a suite and this was done by the concierge at MC. I was told that it was ok to downgrade as long as I didn't ask for any reimbursement. The children kept the classic non-alcoholic package.
