Upsell Fairy Called

The upsell fairy just called and offered an upgrade from a 1A (porthole) to a cove balcony for $350 total (for 2). We took it. We are on the Oct 4th Magic. We booked the original 1A cabin because it was so cheap, but could now not pass up a balcony. Not bad going from a 1A to a 7C.

Way to GO!!!! We were hoping for a call as we leave in 8 days on the Sunshine for an eight day, Southern Caribbean. We booked an inside because this was a pretty costly cruise. Oh well we only shower and sleep in the cabin...

Coves are awesome. We had one on the Magic and loved being outside and that close to the water. You will get some minor sea spray at times, but not really a big deal.

A cove balcony is only offered on a dream class ship and the upcoming vista. These balconies are on deck 2 and instead of having the glass wall like the traditional balconies, they are built into the hull of the ship. With them being on deck 2 they are very close to the water and people love them for their spectacular views.

We also got an Upsell call from our PVP. We had booked a 4K room (interior French door room) for our 21 day Journey cruises. We got an upgrade to an 8K midship extended balcony for $400 total!
