capncarp Posted October 4, 2015 #7 Share Posted October 4, 2015 (edited) For those who wish to actually _read_ the article alluded to (but not linked to or explained by the original poster), here is the article I found on MSN from August 25. http://www.msn.com/en-us/foodanddrink/foodnews/8-foods-to-avoid-on-a-cruise/ss-BBlTcay?ocid=fbmsn#image=1 Almost all are problems that could happen on dry land or at a local restaurant. The site also has another article raising the boogieman of losing one's health due to a cruise. May we assume that MSN couldn't get cruise lines to advertise on their media, so scare tactics and sour grapes are their rejoinders? :p Edited October 4, 2015 by capncarp
Vortech Posted November 4, 2015 #8 Share Posted November 4, 2015 LOL. My favorite slide in the listicle is where they advise you not to drink milk because Raw Milk can be dangerous. I need to try REALLY hard to even find Raw milk on land; you can knock me over with a feather if they have a drop of unpasteurized milk on the ship. CdnArtyWife Posted March 4, 2016 #9 Share Posted March 4, 2016 (edited) C'mon now, all ships have a cow onboard for all those who want their raw milk nice and fresh...didn't you know?:D Edited March 4, 2016 by CdnArtyWife spelling
nmg222 Posted March 4, 2016 #10 Share Posted March 4, 2016 So I shouldn't eat beef, poultry or shellfish. Dinner - "Waiter, I'll start with the oatmeal, followed by the frosted flakes and finish up with fruity pebbles. Oh, and do hold the milk!"
