Celebrity Reflection 11 Night Eastern Mediterranean No Istanbul

Got info today for Oct 23rd cruise via, phone, text and email that no overnight for us in Istanbul...ship will leave 11pm on 23rd.

 

Also on our Roll Call, some have said they heard just a sea day added with a couple longer days in port for a couple other ports...but that part is just here say, have not heard that from Celebrity.

Finally received official confirmation from Celebrity that our sailing on the Constellation out of Istanbul on Sept 18 has lost its overnight. The departure and arrival times for Istanbul have changed also so that instead of having a beautiful sailaway down the Bosphorous at 5pm, the ship now sails near midnight. We miss it on the way back too as the ship docks at 430am. Disappointing. Crete was added to replace Istanbul which is not overly exciting, but better than just another sea day.

I checked the itinerary attached to my reservation today for the Oct. 23rd Constellation and, indeed, the Istanbul overnight is gone. We depart Istanbul 11 pm on the 23rd and have a sea day Oct 24th. I'm a little disappointed but not surprised. Fortunately we have a week in Turkey before we sail.

Just had another itinerary change email from Celebrity they have moved Mykonos and Athens around, so we are now at Athens Thursday and Friday and Mykonos Saturday.

 

Hope this is the last change!
