sparklymermaid Posted September 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2015 My travel agent has sent us everything needed, but she has printed the luggage tags black and white. On RCI I saw a remark stating they should be printed in colour, is this a huge problem?:confused:

You don't even need the pre-printed tags, you can get them made by the porters at the pier.

Eng23 Posted September 4, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 4, 2015 Bob's right! In color or B&W it doesn't matter! Have a great cruise!
Ba' Datz Posted September 4, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 4, 2015 If you want your tag to stand out a little you can use a highlighter to color the appropriate sections
transam84 Posted September 4, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 4, 2015 They are in the back of the ticket booklet on the documents online. If you have a color printer you can print as many as you want in color. I also ordered them free from RCI. I'm in a suite so they are free, I think there may be a small charge if not in suite. They sent me plenty in full color ready to attach!

cb at sea Posted September 4, 2015 #8 Share Posted September 4, 2015 You don't need tags until you get to the ship, and the porters will have REAL tags! No worries!

You know, everybody says that, but the one time we didn't have tags, guess who got to stand there writing out the tags for six bags? I was travelling with 3 newbies and the porter didn't even have a pen I could use. This was Tampa, just for the record.
nat9511 Posted September 4, 2015 #10 Share Posted September 4, 2015 Hey Maureen, have you been cruising lately or do you have any booked? I'm waiting for another of your wonderful reviews. The Allure cruise we were on was great. Nat
m*u*g* Posted September 4, 2015 #11 Share Posted September 4, 2015 The BW white ones you have should be fine. I laminate mine that I printed from the Setsail pass to attach to our bags. I also put one on each of my carry on bags, just in case one gets left in a cab or something. Never happened though. I don't want to rely on someone's handwriting. Just my preference. Those tags are more sturdy than the paper ones you print out so that is why I like them.
maureencruiser Posted September 4, 2015 #13 Share Posted September 4, 2015 Hey Maureen, have you been cruising lately or do you have any booked? Hi Nat, I have three booked, Freedom of the Seas for my birthday, MSC Divina and a Windstar sailing cruise in February, what about you?
