All these additions is why I booked for 10/22/16. Love Alchemy and Guy's.

I booked knowing it was going to dry dock, but I didn't know what it would be getting. These are the main ones I was hoping for. Alchemy for us. And Guys for my son who loves to scarf down one or two daily.

Can somebody tell me why they love Guys so much? I once tried Johnny Rockets the burger simply had grease coming down our arms when we were eating it, discussing, are Guys burgers not greasy?

Guy's Burger are way better than Johnny Rockets....

Was on the Sunshine this past October and had Guy's for the first time All I can says is Wowee!! It was awesome. One of our party had at least 15+. And Alchemy was so much fun. The drinks were incredible. To be honest the bartenders were the best ever and they made it fun. For such a small area it was packed every night and you ran into the same people.

Mr. Heald is not allways correct with his information.

4 years ago, Elation went into Dry Dock prior to going to NOLA. The Ecstasy was in NOLA prior and we initally booked on her. Most of our reservations transferred to the Elation, except the one with a balcony, non-suite. See my review below.

Prior to dry dock and our cruise, I asked Mr. Heald if the Elation was getting the "Evolutions of Fun", during dry dock, and he said yes.

Guess what, he was wrong. No biggie, but Mr. Heald sometimes does not have all the correct information.

I spoke with my PVP from Carnival this morning and he stated that they received a memo yesterday that assures the Magic is getting Guy's etc. I had seen the John H post but I wanted to hear it from my PVP before I told my husband there would be a Guy's aboard...

I'm curious if they add new shows or features, the harbor family game show, movie theater, etc or is it just the restaurants and bars that are being added?

Most of the things being added are really just taking over the space of something else and being themed. Like Guys Burger will be where the grill was. So no more grill. The bars on the Lido deck get freshened up with new décor and a new name and theme. According to the Carnival website the Magic isn't getting the Hasbro Game show or the Playlist Productions, and no movie theater.

Can't wait to cruise on the Magic Come December 2017! Decided to book after seeing it'll get the 2.0 upgrades like the breeze, (after cruising on ships that have them, yes we're spoiled, lol) also the $99 deposit sealed the deal for us. So its CHRISTMAS I the CARIBBEAN for us in 2017!! WOOOHOO!
