Premium room at FLL Emabassy Suites worth it?

I'm looking at the premium rooms at embassy suites. For my date it's only $25 more and we are a family of 5. I see the extra included is access to snacks in the "snack center" and Keurig in the room. Has anybody had one of these rooms? Are snacks available all day? I'm trying to decide if it's worth the extra and also trying to get an idea of what is actually included. Thanks for any help.

I've always stayed in the standard rooms. They big enough for us.

The rooms are the same. I think they have a balcony? My sister had one of those rooms. If your kids drink a lot of soda and want some chips or whatever, then I guess it would be worth it. Personally we wouldn't see the value. You'll have reception snacks and drinks plus breakfast.

Cab ride about 10$ to port. Take an suv/van cab. Skip their shuttle.

We too always stay in the standard room at the ES...I don't see the extra charge worth it at all... You might also enjoy dinner at Duffy's right behind ES in the Publix shopping center....great food.

We have stayed in one of the premium rooms. Yes, snacks are available all day long as they are in a vending machine. When you check in you will be given a code to enter in the vending machine to get your snacks. The most popular snacks would be gone some of the time, but other choices were available.

For a family of five well worth the money.
