Suites and soda?

I am hoping someone can answer my question on staying in a full suite on either the Oasis or Quantum class ships. For the concierge or suite lounge is soda available all day or only in the evenings?

Coastal Kitchen at lunch and dinner, is soda available at no charge or is it fee based?

Is there soda in the minibar in the suites, is there a fee for it or included in the suites?

Trying to figure out if we need to purchase a soda package for one of the 18 year olds in our party

I did a search and couldn't come up with an answer.

Thank you

Get the soda package.

Even if soda were available 24/7 in the lounge (which it's not) and even if the minibar cans were included (which they're not), nobody wants to walk all the way to the lounge or suite every single time they are thirsty.

With the soda package, you can get a soda at any bar at any time, in any dining room at any meal, plus at the Freestyle machines (if you have the cup with you).

Totally worth a few dollars a day.

Thank you - can the minibar be emptied out by the room steward if we want to use it for water, champagne, etc?

Just do it yourself. They don't like to do it. Cabin stewards are no longer "in charge" of the minibar. Bar staff come around and do inventory etc. They don't like to mess with it.

Thank you - wasn't sure if it was one of those, you touch it you are charged for it type of minibar or a regular one where you can empty yourself.

Make sure you put the items where the person who checks your fridge everyday can see the stuff. Our guy didn't see where we put it, (on top of the shelf unit), and kept refilling the fridge and charging our account. He quit refilling and charging when we pointed out the storage area to him.

The room steward is no longer allowed to do this, but you can do it yourself and leave a note for the staff that checks the minibars daily where you put the stuff. Bear in mind that these are just coolers and will not chill anything. It will keep water cool but for champagne you will need an ice bucket.
