Free adult outdoor lounge area?

We are considering a cruise on the Regal Princess and we have only been on one other Princess cruise and that was the Emerald Princess. I wanted to find out if there is an "adults only" pool and lounger area other than the one you have to reserve and pay extra for (the Sanctuary?). Most other ships I have been on have a quieter pool area which is usually 18 and over. Does Regal have such a thing? Thanks.

The Retreat Pool on Royal and Regal is signed as adults only. Just like the Lotus Spa Pool or Lap Pool on the Grand-class ships. One deck above the Lido, forward ship, just outside the Sanctuary. There is no pool inside the Sanctuary on any Princess ship (other than a few older ships where there was a splash pool in the area the Sanctuary was added to).

On the Grand, at the very aft end of the ship, the pool and surrounding deck/lounge area is reserved for adults only. The other two pools about midship are open to anyone.

Unless you are cruising when children are normally out of school, Princess seldom has many children on board so you should be all right at any of the pools. :)
