Are there special rates for children or infants? Norwegian Cruise Line is committed to offering an unforgettable cruise experience for the entire family. Children aboard our ships can enjoy a variety of activities, events and programs including our newly redesigned Youth Program with age specific activities for infants, kids & teens. On most sailings, we offer significantly discounted rates for the 3rd - 8th guests. Infants under six months of age are not eligible for travel on Norwegian ships. muffin83 Posted December 5, 2015 #3 Share Posted December 5, 2015 Sometimes they do offer promos where kids sail free if they are 3 through 8 person in the room but for generally speaking no. This is true for most cruise lines. I have cruise with daughter since she was about 8 months and we have been paying the full 3rd person rate. I booked a cruise with NCL back in February for this coming January and they were running the kids sail free promo.
cb at sea Posted December 5, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 5, 2015 (edited) Usually the "3rd person" rate is less than the 1st 2 people.... a "soul" is a "soul" on a ship...they only have so many spaces...(lifeboat capacity)...so each "soul" pays... Expect to tip for the child, too... Edited December 5, 2015 by cb at sea
