Indeed, bon voyage to all. One of our Probus club members and friend, Lady Geraldine is also on board with our Bazzaw (Barry.) Hope you all have a great adventure, looks a great itinerary.

Did this cruise in 2009 and 2011 and loved it. The 7 days from Mauritius to Fremantle at the end were a bit of a drag - in 2011 we went via the south pole and turned left at the first sight of penguins. It was due to rough weather easier to head south and then back up than the original plan of straight across to Fremantle.

We had planned to do this cruise however Bob's PD worsened and he passed away in September due to a broken femur and pneumonia.

Maybe next time.

Bon Voyage Bazzaw and all who are sailing with you. Its a wonderful cruise . We did a similar one on Pacific Princess in 2005, except we cruised Bangkok to Capetown.....then had a long flight home via Singapore .

Great ports of call .

Is it my iPad or does the bridge cam need some serious adjusting

No, its not your iPad, one of the offices have been playing with the Sun Princess webcam while I was not looking...., Iam posting on Princess Facebook page about it tonight!

This would be a cruise I would be interested in

And I remember seeing Inside Cabin at around 4,000 AUD

Wonder if its a 2nd yearly cruise??

Princess did this cruise in 2009 and 2011 (when we went). For the 2009 cruise, the starting price for inside cabins was (from memory) around $5,000. Two years later (tips came off then) it was $5,200. $4,000 or thereabouts would be a fantastic price.:)

The timing of this cruise is much better than in 2011, January instead of 3rd May.

In 2017 there is the circle South America cruise. The Indian Ocean cruise may be planned for every second year.

Are they offering an overnight Taj Mahal tour on this cruise?

I don't think they would be because there is only one port in India. On the 2011 Indian Ocean cruise we had a few ports on the west coast of India. The trip to Taj Mahal took a few days - could have been 2 nights at least. People said they enjoyed it but it was exhausting and the other problem was the time of year. In mid summer it was 46 degrees C. :(

Do you remember that some of the tour people got a different flight back - waited in the airport and had a meal. They were ill for quite a while when back on the Sun Princess

It could be done . They would have 3 days and 2 nights.

Tue 19/01/16 Chennai (ex: Madras) / India 08:00 18:00

Wed 20/01/16 At Sea

Thu 21/01/16 Colombo / Sri Lanka 07:00 20:00

They would have to leave first thing from Chennai and rejoin the ship in Colombo , just before it sails.
