Aqua spa cabins have priority disembarkation, basically you go to one of the venues where all AQ patrons are and wait until they call you off. I don't find it really any quicker. You'll probably be off the ship before the inside and outside cabins but not by much.

The quickest way to get off is self-disembarkation but you have to be able to handle your luggage. These people are usually the first off the ship, you do not leave your luggage outside the cabin the night before and just get in line to walk off the ship on your own. Sometimes the line seems imposing but it moves very quickly once it starts.

Do you mean the end of cruise disembarkation, or just the daily stops?

You asked about getting off the ship in ports I believe. If the ship is docked the can get off easily and even in the first rush to get off it takes less than 10 minutes.

If the ship is anchored and you are tendering to shore then Celebrity shore excursions are the first off. Aqua and Conciegre passengers do not get priority for tenders. Priority for tenders is for those in suites, Captains Club members with status of Elite or above.

What you are reading on the web site for Aqua and Conciegre relates to debarkation at the end of the cruise. What dkjretired was explaining is the waiting area for Aqua & Conciegre guests. Also should you have a need to be off early and request to get off at 8:00 for example, you would get priority in getting that time over someone in a lower category cabin.

At ports there is no issue if the ship is docked as everyone simply walks off with no line after a rush lasting only a few minutes. If tendered it can be a challenge with no priority except suites and Elite and above for CC members. Tendering depends if the tender port sues the lifeboats - very slow or port sort of tour boats - goes fast and the weather - you can figure that one out.

At the end of your cruise the only way to get off fast is to self disembark carrying your own luggage. Anything else you can get off fast but will wait for your bags!

the quickest I got off was Barcelona. from theater to taxi in 10 minutes

one of the worst was Aukland. 20 minutes to street where there was a nightmare of people, taxis and busses. Line for taxi was over 100 people. There are volunteers to help direct you. We were able to walk to hotel from ship. 4 blocks uphill though.

This is not always the case....guess it is up to the discretion of the staff. We even asked last time around as we had a tour booked off the ship and the lines were crazy busy. We told them we were elite and they said there was no priority on this particular sailing. Maybe enough complained as by our third and last tender port (one we didn't even get off at), there were priority tender tickets in our room.

We were specifically wondering about the daily port exits for certain places where we would be going off on our own journey and would need every minute.

That question seems to have been answered and I take away that the room categories I mentioned in the original post would not benefit us for our specific request to get off any faster.

Thanks to all.

We will always disembark ourselves as thankfully we are able to do it. We also use public transport as far as possible but still stay in 5 star hotels if warranted it indeed a 3 star if it is better located and well reviewed. We never use public transport and then ask for someone to take our bags although weirdly another hotel guest decided to comment on that once by calling us skinflints.
