Well, I have no place to go so I will watch condo of the seas depart.

No packing yet but starting to get things together. Unfortunately the spare bedroom isn't spare at the moment (mother-in-law staying with us temporarily) - that is where we would pile stuff up and then a few days before the time to a final sort and pack. It will be trickier this time!

 

 

After the huge storms right around the weekend before departure for last year's cruise (when we were packing), we have moved it to 2 weeks before. DH forgot his SCUBA card and a couple of other things, which we hope to avoid.

 

I also have a "Thoughts for the next cruise" list in my phone which I update after each return and read during prep. The list goes back to December 2010 (significant birthday cruise for me) and it's fun to see how our planning/packing has evolved!

It was great waving to everyone. When we left the channel there was a guy in a boat yelling at us to take the cold with us! It was a chilly couple of days in FLL.

Thank you for capturing these shots! We are STILL waiting to get into our room at the Hilton Ft Lauderdale Marina. So far we've been given a comp dinner per person and a couple of bottles of wine. We will see how long it takes . . .
