Can you pay more to get the spa amenity if you are not in the spa deck

Staggered registration worked very well. They were checking times on boarding passes and limiting access to those in the correct window. We got there a few minutes after our window (hotel shuttle...) and were escorted past the current group.

New internet (not the Hub app yet) works great.

I don't think the spa deck perks apply to Triumph but I'll check. BTW, we're in 1114 on Spa Deck. Might be my favorite cabin yet, simply due to access - just step out the door, turn right and through the door, and your on deck. I love it.

Confirmed: no special rates for the Spa Deck on Triumph. Everyone pays the same rates.

I see that you said the Hub app isn't working yet. I wonder if they'll let you know of a general date? I'm cruising on the Triumph in October. Thanks for all the info btw!

Triumph does not have the Cloud 9 Spa.

 

There are no amenities to buy.

Renata at the Alchemy bar is great. As is Moseley at the Red Frog Bar on the Lido deck. :) We just left this morning. Be warned, internet is spotty once you get out to sea, but who cares.

Why are you still there? Was there a delay getting onboard?

Not sure why. They were loading the last of the luggage around 5:00. We thought it was strange too. Late flight they were holding for, maybe?

We are on the Triumph in 7 days ... I thought it only did 4 & 5-day cruises, with a couple of Journies cruises thrown in?

It's Mardi Gras weekend in Galveston. The traffic patterns on I-45 reflect thousands more people on the island than what's a normal day. Today the traffic delay ranged from 5 min to almost an hour. That's reason to hold the ship for those on buses traveling from the airport.

Having a great time. Got up early to attend the Planet Alignment Viewing - very cool. Shot some GoPro time-lapse video of both sail away and this morning's sunrise (will post a link later). Had the huevos rancheros at Blue Iguana - as good as the sea-day brunch and we ate it on deck.

 

Internet access is great so far.

 

Ship is showing some wear but it's in much better shape than I expected after reading some recent reviews.

 

Will post more later. Let me know if you have specific questions.
