We're just getting unpacked from our five night BOS to Key west and Cozumel.

When we left North Carolina the temp. was in the twenty's and at the end of our 10 hour drive sunny Florida was near 80 degrees !

We arrived at the port and was on the ship in less than a half HR.

Embarkation A+

Windjammer was a madhouse so we tried out our drink package ( worked really well ) bartenders seamed fine with the drink packed with or without a tip, most of the time we would tip extra. Sometimes we would have to sign

a slip and most of the time no slip. We both got the premium drink package

and will get it again.

package and bartenders, grade A

Rooms were ready about 1:30 we had cabin 8168 corner AFT . Very nice cabin we didn't mind the walk. I'm going to try and post some

pictures . cabin grade A

We only ate at windjammer, park cafe and had room service twice.

Were not foodies, or like going to a 3 hour dinner. I would have to give the food an overall B+

The crew seemed to be in good spirits, and like any business, some better than others. Our room attendant was ARTHUR , He was very nice and took great care of us. crew overall an A

We went to the casino every night it was fun but without a doubt the tightest

casino we've ever been in.

Casino grade C

This was our first time to Key west, what a great place to visit ! We ate at

Sloppy Joe's and walked from store to store. we have been to Cozumel before

so we knew what to expect there . We walked around the port area and

walked some outside the port area.

We didn't go to any of the shows but the live music and ship atmosphere was

always very good! always some kind of event going on.

We carried our luggage off the ship at 7:10 and were thru customs by 7:30 and after a $20 cab ride we were back at our car by 8:15.

disembark grade A

Overall we had a great time and would go again ! but next for us is Oasis and

some new ports.

Overall cruise grade A

We were on Brilliance this past December, and pretty much agree with your assessment.:)

Thanks BOB ! We had a great time ! We're going to try Oasis, Board walk Balcony cabin 12321. Have you ever had a BW Balcony ? We heard it could be

loud at times ( not worried about that ). I think we should be able to see part of the aqua theater and some ocean views .

No, we've never had a Boardwalk balcony. The two times we've been on Oasis class, we've been fortunate to have oceanview balconies.

Wingman2014, thanks for the review and pics ! We were on the Brilliance in October for 20 days and our cabin attendant on deck 8 was Arthur Doctor. He was amazing, even with our changing cabins on a b2b. Any chance it's the same fellow?? If so, we'll go say hello to him when we're back on the ship next month. Thanks !

Yes ! that's our doctor , he was great and just a inside secret

(he likes chocolate) we brought him back a big chocolate bar when we were in

Cozumel. Tell him TIM and KIM said hello ,

thank you !!

We will and we will bring him a treat or two! I wish I had known about the chocolate. He was the best cabin attendant we have had in many, many years, including a cruise on which we were in the two bedroom aft suite on the Jewel. Such a nice guy and SO GOOD and unobtrusive. Like the "old days". - we'd leave our cabin and voila it would be made up like magic.

Hi,

We were on the same cruise and also had a wonderful time!

We had a TS cabin (9656). Our cabin steward was magical and "like the old days." Everything was done before I could even think to ask for something.

My 9yo son used the kids club, Adventure Ocean, every day. I would be happy to answer any questions about it.

Thank you for your review! We board Saturday for the same itinerary. This will be our first time to not go to the dining room. I'm glad to hear you had a good experience doing the same.

We had great weather ! Hope you do as well ! We walked through the dinning room one time ( by mistake ) Windjammer was always from good

to very good . We like it because we can stay as long as we like or hurry

and move on to something else :) Room service was good as well.

We did this cruise last year and thought it was great. The key west stop we kinda toured around and then did Nachi in Cozumel. The crew on Brilliance was great. So far I think that is my favorite size of ship for being not to small but not too big.

Was formal night day 2 in key west or day 3 at sea? I am going on a similar itinerary soon.

Look for the Sunshine Skyway bridge about 2 hours after you leave the pier.

YES, don't forget (like we did) we were having such a good time we forgot.

We walked back into our cabin just after we had gone under, still got some nice pictures. (aft cabin )

Wingman - Thanks for all the info.

You mentioned a $20 ride to your car. Where were you parked?

Thanks, M

We stayed at the fairfield inn tampa by the Hard rock casino. We paid for a

park and cruise but we disembarked so early the hotel shuttle was not

running yet.

Thanks for the clarification. We've had the same situation, also in a Tampa hotel. I think the shuttles started around 8.
