Two years ago - 23 nights - Adelaide to Hong Kong. Had the most amazing time. First time berthed at the OPT. Ship played 'Rolling on a River - Proud Mary' as we left Darling Harbour. Just a wonderful memory. Sigh.

My first cruise on her was from Southampton and at sailaway they played "Rule Brittania" ...terribly British and very stirring.:)

Sometimes I wonder if it is one of those journeys in life that doing this 'a second time' won't live up to the first experience. I did a four nighter on her before the longer cruise, which didnt really count.

Having said that if I was given the chance I would be back on her in a flash.

Just heard from our friends who are doing AK to HK. As they have the whole day and overnight in Sydney they have taken the train from Central to the Blue Mountains for the day.

He said Cunard are expecting a big day tomorrow with 1,940 boarding in Sydney and Brisbane.
