Haven Spa Suite

I am very confused and hope to get some answers. I saw haven suite menus in general and someone posted online a men that showed lobster in the Haven restaurant. I am trying to decide if we should get a package of restaurants or just stick to the haven restaurant and main dining room. I assume the Haven menu stays the same the whole time?

Does anyone have the main dining room menus?

We leave on 5/14 for 7 days and curious about it.

What are the Haven spa suite amenities for ship. Is their priority disembarkation at ports?

Does the in room dining have a different menu then all the cabins

Am thinking of doing the beverage plan but how may drink a day do you consume to make that daily minimum cost.

How early can you get on board

thanks

from what i've been told my haven room entitles me to order anything from the entire ship and the butler will bring it to me. no 8 dollar fee. if your order from special restaurant that counts against your package of course. also i've been told our spa rooms are too small for the 'in room ' dining that larger rooms have. i'm not clear on if they will still do it though if you just are happy eating at the small table. on your bed etc etc. i only really wanted one meal in the room. i never had room service in my life.

since drink pak is included free for haven. you dont even have to pay the 18% fee so you dont have to worry about 'making sure' you break even with drinks. unless you impute the value of the unlimited drinks in your cruise price like i did and got 1100 bucks i think.

the haven definitely has one menu which stays the same. however i think i recall someone say there are some changing specials. someone will chime in.

edit: i see you dont get the perks. all 15 and under drinks are free so i believe you would have to drink 6 a day to break even.

Not sure what ship you are on and if you booked Haven or got upgraded. If you booked Haven you should have received some promos like drinks, dinner, internet the promos change a small amount. If you upgraded you should have kept your original promos.

You should defiantly check with your TA or check your reservation it will list your promos.

Yes the Haven Menu does look very yummy but it doesn't change enough for 7 nights.

You have to drink a lot to make the beverage plan work around 8-10 drinks a day every day to make it pay for itself.

The Haven Spa suites gets all the normal Haven perks including use of the Thermal spa area.

Thanks,

the only perk we were allowed was the perk from the original free room which was an inside at the time. So we received 50 shore credit at each shore. So I am using that. I did ask about the other perks for the haven as far as the meal plan for the restaurants and they said due to it being a casino offer it was not allowed.

So I am now left with the decision of doing the meal plan or not and is it worth it

I'd recommend the meal plan. I would pay for it, if I didn't get it as a perk (and did pay for it on my last cruise).

The Haven restaurant is excellent, but they do have a static menu with a changing daily special. You can order from any ship restaurant there (and from room service) but you'll be charged if ordering from specialties.

Even with that, there are things you can't get at the Haven restaurant:

Teppanyaki - A fun hibachi experience

Moderno - Brazilian steakhouse with an incredible "salad" bar

Cirque Dreams/Illusionarium/Supper Club (depending on which ship) - This is an upcharge even with the dining package but you save if you do this with the package

That's three uses for SDP right there even if you were fine with paying a la carte for the other specialities.

Exactly this. Get the SDP. It's relatively inexpensive and you'll enjoy it. That being said, the Haven restaurant does have lobster, the whole menu is awesome, but it does stay static throughout the cruise.

I booked the Haven Spa suite through Casino's at sea and I received all the Promos. So I am not sure why you would not get them?

Because their original booking was an inside with shore excursion credit. They upgraded and the perks stay the same.

We loved our meals in the Haven dining room & main dining rooms but we also enjoyed Moderno, Cagneys & Teppanyaki, so I would highly recommend the dining plan.

We had priority disembarkation at Great Stirrup Cay which was very helpful, and on the day we returned back to NYC. That morning we left our luggage by the concierge desk, had a nice leisurely breakfast and then Anoop lead us down in the Haven elevator. It was probably the easiest time I've ever had leaving a ship & that's even with doing the self assist option.

Just an FYI, while the Haven Spa suite may be smaller, we did do in room dining one night & it was just fine. Yes the table may be smaller but we still enjoyed ourselves & the meal. I actually wish I would've taken advantage of that option more than once.

We were discouraged from in room dining when we had a Haven Spa Suite on the Getaway and after seeing the tiny thing they called a table, I agreed.

Fortunately we are getting a Penthouse Suite starting tomorrow on the Spirit and we intend to take advantage of the perk we missed last time.

Because the promos, like the type of cabin comped, depend on how CAS evaluates your previous play.

I do not believe that is precisely correct, at least, that is not what I was told on my last 3 booked CAS cruises. I was told each time that I was entitled to all promos for the level of room that I was comped, regardless of the level to which I upgraded. So, when I was comped a balcony and upgraded to a suite, I got the balcony level promos. Same when I was comped a mini and upgraded to a suite. But when I was comped a full suite (penthouse) and upgraded to a better suite (two bedroom), I got the suite level promos.

I have read many of the replies above and there is some good info. The question is are you trying to maximize your personal experience or get everything that is possibly "owed" to you. The restaurants in the haven are very nice and will easily satisfy you for 7 days

I was comped a Haven Spa suite (H9) from CAS nearly a year ago for my upcoming 10 day Western Med cruise on the Epic. At the time of my booking the promos for booking Haven suites were UDP, UBP. Paid Gratuities, and $300 OBC for the cabin and I got all 4. Getting all the promos had nothing to do with my play and was based solely on what promos were going on for Haven suites whether they were comped for full pay at the time of my booking. Had I booked this cruise a day later those promos were gone.
