My Port review of Cochin India

Thanks for posting your review. We will be in Cochin for just one day in late October and are looking forward to visiting India. We have already booked a tour on a houseboat in the backwater and your review assures me it was a good decision. The traffic sounds like Cairo where every car makes his own lane and traffic lights are merely a suggestion. I'm hoping we have a good day in Cochin because I'm trying to convince my husband to sign up for a 2 week land tour of India. After going to the trouble and expense of getting a visa for India I want to use it again :)

By the way, my parents lived in Holiday for over 20 years so I'm very familiar with the area. They are gone now and I miss visiting over there.

Thanks for posting this! Cochin looks amazing. We will be there around Christmas time on our Celebrity cruise. Still trying to figure out the visa situation for US travelers. Was a multiple-entry visa required to visit by ship?
