No need to call. After picking up your luggage just look for the taxi sign when exiting the terminal.

I assume you are sailing out of Miami and not Fort Lauderdale? I ask because some fly into MIA but need transport to FLL. If you are heading to FLL I would prearrange a pickup as it is more economical. If heading to the MIA port, a taxi is fine and readily available.

The flat rate fare (ignore the meter) from MIA to POM is $27+tip -- the ride takes about 15+ minutes, depending upon traffic.

No problem getting a taxi at the Mami airport.

With so many international flights arriving at crazy hours MIA is a 24/7 operation. Taxis are available anytime - hotel shuttles may not run all day if you are staying near the airport.
