February in South America

Our next cruise is on the NCL Sun Rio to Buenos Aries next February when it's expected to be in the 80's and higher. Any recommendations on packing for non beach shore excursions?

It's SUMMER in the S. Hemisphere....pack summer clothing!!

We did a similar cruise several years ago. Temps were in the high 90's during our stay. Definitely summer type clothes are the way to go. I wore capris and sleeveless tops or a sundress during excursions.

Moisture wicking tops & shorts or capris work great. The heat & humidity can be intense

Add something warm for the ship like a nice, neutral cardigan or zip front sweatshirt. We did the Vaparasio to Fort Lauderdale cruise in March years back and had to buy a hoodie at a port stop because the cinema, several bars and the deck at night was very cold. The deck warmed as we neared Costa Rica but not the inside lower deck venues. The diningrooms were fine. Everything else was full on summer wear.

Having spent this past February aboard the Maasdam with 13 ports of call in Brazil alone, I cannot agree more!
