Mullet Bay Info?

Can anyone provide some info on Mullet Bay?

- how long from cruise port?

- approx. cab fare?

- is there an entrance fee?

- a better option than just walking to the closer beach to the port?

30 min there but leave 90 min in afternoon to get back to the port

 

$10 per personish

 

Like all beaches on the island it is a public beach and it's free

 

Mullet, Simpson Bay, Little Bay, Grand Case, Orient, Dawn, Maho and the list goes on and on

There are taxis at the port that you can share with other passengers - you will see signs for them - take the one going to Maho/Mullet.

 

We love Mullet Bay and will be going there on our cruise in September.

We really liked Mullet Bay and thought it was very pretty there (wished we could have stayed longer but it was my older children's first time there and I wanted them to see the planes come in at Maho so we left early). I have a review with TONS of pictures of Mullet if you are interested in seeing it there (in my signature line). :)

You can take the bus also. Very easy to catch both directions and very cheap. I think to Mullet Bay it was 1.50 pp each way. When we wanted to come back to town to get back to the ship some people got nervous and opted for the taxi who was in the parking lot. We continued to walk to the main road where a bus was coming up the street. We got picked up much faster than that cab. He ended up waiting to fill his cab. The bus is a van. It was comfortable and very easy. The locals were super nice to talk to.
