Severus Posted July 9, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 9, 2016 Are you constantly locking yourself out off your own stateroom because of the lighting/keycard system they use on the new cruise ships? Check this video out, I found it very useful and informative. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

But I wouldn't lock myself out since we turn off lights when we leave the cabin. ;)

dmdiver Posted July 9, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 9, 2016 We use an old Royal Caribbean or used up gift card for our light switch - still turn off the lights when we leave the room.

evandbob Posted July 9, 2016 #8 Share Posted July 9, 2016 Yep - any plastic or cardboard card worksThey are all the same size Exactly. AARP, AAA, redeemd Carnival Gift Card, even a folded up tear off strip of the fun times works. Never been locked out. I may leave the small bedside lamp on, especially if I have an inside cabin, otherwise I turn off the lights. I can't figure out why the majority of my cabin stewrds leave the bathroom light on though?
