Cigar room on Anthem

On other Rcc ships, we've always enjoyed the smoking lounge. My only previous experience on Anthem was the Feb Hurricane cruise so never bothered to find it. Is there a smoking/cigar lounge on Anthem?

Unfortunately, they did not think to put one in the ship, just in case weather does not permit smoking outdoors! Big mistake, huge. there Princess area with coffee/tea/water set ups, tables, etc. Also, Deck 5, aft has a smoking area. Not sure if they have anywhere to just sit. Hope this helps :-)

If you enjoy smoking cigars, the lack of a lounge is an issue. This is especially true when the ship is moving. You might consider the smaller ships that still have lounges, although, there's no guarantee that the lounge will be there when you are. We have a couple booked on the Adventure and the lounge will be gone by the time we get there.

 

All that being said, the writing is on the wall. I resigned myself to enjoying the lounges that are left and when they are gone, I'll miss them, but, I won't let that interfere with me having a great time.

Sovereign class ships did not and do not have cigar lounges.

 

Vision class ships did not and do not have cigar lounges.

 

Radiance class used to have them but no longer.

 

Voyager class used to have them but they are being re-purposed and are going away.

 

Freedom class ships still have them.

 

Oasis class ships have an outside bar/deck on a very high deck at night only.

 

Quantum class ships did not and do not have them.

Sorry, but Michaels club on Celebrity was changed years ago. It is now a suite lounge. No indoor smoking. The only ships that have smokers lounges are Princess on most, NCL on the newer ones I know do, and MSC on the Divina.
