It's not as simple as following a link; the website will just redirect you to where you're supposed to be. This happen because they geolocate. They geolocate in two ways both of which you will need to deal to.

 

A VPN terminating in the US will make you look like you're a US customer unless you have wifi turned on (on your computer) in which case the geolocation is achieved by looking at your and nearby basestations and a database of where these are known to be. So, you will need to disable wifi on your computer too.

 

A wired connection over a VPN will achieve what you need. This equates to a relatively high level of effort.
