tamirpr Posted September 17, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2016 We have been to St. Maarten before and did a tour, done Maho, done Orient. We are looking to just find a great hang-out type of beach bar/restaurant. Can anyone recommend a place? Other than Senor Frog's.
navybankerteacher Posted September 17, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2016 Mr. Busby's on Dawn Beach has good food and beach chairs, umbrellas - about 15 minute by taxi from port. For more formal, less beachy hanging out, think about Holland House in Philipsburg overlooking the beach/harbor.
OCruisers Posted September 17, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 17, 2016 You could take the water taxi to the main section of Great Bay Beach. There are lots of restaurant/bars to hang out there. :D
Robinola Posted September 17, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 17, 2016 I am wondering the same. I am wondering if there is a great all inclusive resort to hang out at for the day.

A lot of no name places and the water taxi is a great way to quickly get back and forth. Enjoy.
Karysa Posted September 17, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 17, 2016 (edited) For hanging out then I would agree that Great Bay has lots of options. If swimming is in your plans then it would be pretty much anywhere BUT Great Bay for me. http://www.karakterbeach.com/ is on a nice stretch of beach and the chairs and umbrellas are free for customers Edited September 17, 2016 by Karysa
