schildiams Posted September 21, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2016 I read on here that reservations are taken, but I emailed the concierge and was told no. Any advice about avoiding long waits for a family of six at prime time on a holiday cruise? Thanks!
Annmeat Posted September 21, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2016 The only night that the staff has asked US to secure a dining time has been on seafood night. We didn't make a reservation anyway and had no wait for family of
Two Wheels Only Posted September 21, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 21, 2016 For 6, there won't be a wait. It may take them a minute or two to set up a table. Just call the restaurant from your stateroom and tell them that you are on the way. The walk from your room to the Haven will give them plenty of time to be ready for you. Rare BirdTravels Posted September 21, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 21, 2016 A party of 6 is no problem. No reservations are required for the Havens restaurant.
Fido Chuckwagon Posted September 21, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 21, 2016 A party of 6 is no problem. No reservations are required for the Havens restaurant. Does anyone have a copy of the current dinner menu in the haven on the breakaway?
OceanFlurry Posted September 24, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 24, 2016 No need for a reservation, we got back from the Getaway last week and the only time that there was not a table available (5 minute wait) was for embarkation day lunch. Every other time there was always 5-10 empty tables. Sent from my iPad using Forums
MickeyDs Posted September 24, 2016 #7 Share Posted September 24, 2016 We've had to wait a couple of nights as a party of two. Only 5-10 minutes each time. No reservations are taken to my knowledge.

Loonbeam Posted September 25, 2016 #10 Share Posted September 25, 2016 Given that the haven menu doesn't change each night?? Seafood Night?? I'm not familiar but it sounds like something I don't want to miss.
Rare BirdTravels Posted September 25, 2016 #11 Share Posted September 25, 2016 (edited) Seafood Night?? I'm not familiar but it sounds like something I don't want to miss. No such thing. There is a set menu. There is a seafood night in the Buffet. They serve fish and dishes that include some seafood component (squid in rice, fake crab on salads, etc.) You are not missing anything. Gregor4500 Posted September 25, 2016 #12 Share Posted September 25, 2016 Ok, I've been in the Haven and knew the menu didn't change. I thought maybe something new was implemented I didn't know about. Maybe to appease those that missed the lobster on the menu.
