Jade Adult areas

There are no adult only outside areas on the Jade. However, the thermal spa pass gives you a nice indoor area with window and a heated lounger that children cannot use. Of course the casino is adults only.

Thanks dporter...I will look into what the spa passes cost for our 10 day cruise. Was hoping for an outdoor pool/hot tub area. Oh well. Will still enjoy our cruise regardless.:)

I believe that one pool and maybe one hot tub on the Jade are designated as adults-only. They are not separated in any way from the rest of the pool area, though, so you will still see and hear kids right next to you. They're just not supposed to be in the pool.

I remember seeing signs saying that on previous Jade cruises, but last month the top sun deck was no longer called "Freestyle Sun Deck" and there was nothing indicating that it was adults-only.

Guess it's not that popular to keep it adult only.

Maybe they have plans to use the space for something else.

I guess I will have to inquire when I board the ship. As it is summer holidays I do expect there to be a fair number of children on board and I know I will need some time quiet time away from kids. I love kids, teaching a class of 10/11 years olds right now, but summer is my time to be kid free as much as possible!

Fingers crossed there are a few areas on the Jade that are adults only.

Yes, the Jade will head to Freeport for a 3-week refurbishment right after your cruise. You can search the boards for "last cruise before dry dock" to read other people's experiences. On top of that, it's a short cruise (and maybe a charter?), so the atmosphere will be a little different anyway.

The jade is getting a makeover in March? Does that mean the cruise I'm on is the last one til then... oh no I heard bad things about being last and first :(

Hmm

I knew the 4 day in March was following behind a string of Sixthman charters, but was not aware if was the last cruise before a dry dock.

Well, the price was certainly good so we'll go with the flow.
