Sorry to bring back an old thread, but.......I get NCL charging 3%. However, would your CC be charged as normal purchase or as a cash advance?

 

Normal purchase. The cash & fee appear on your final bill which is then charged as a regular purchase to your credit card.

Everything you charged on ship is rolled into one charge to your credit card that looks like a normal purchase to your credit card.

 

If you reach 15,000 or more 'tier' points in the casino during their tracking period of April 1st to March 31st, you will have the 3% fees removed from your bill at the end of the cruise. And if you have reached that tier, there are other benefits that you are eligible for other cruises that year and the following year.
