Hello All! New user here.

Could anyone point me to any cruises that leave on a thursday or a friday and are 4-6 days long? Not sure how i could search for such a thing - I have been looking on all the different sites but havent seen many like this. Is anyone familiar with any?

thank you!

Pretty easy, actually, but since the sites don't filter on day of the week for boarding you have to do it manually with a separate calendar available.

It does help a bit if you narrow down destination and boarding port first, but for example, if I go to my favorite (unnamed) cruise booking site and filter for cruises of 3-5 days leaving Fort Lauderdale for the Caribbean/Bahamas in March 2017 I see a couple of four day cruises that leave on March 2 or March 16. It looks like the 5 and 6 days cruises tend to board on Saturday, Sunday or Monday.

So do that for whatever period you're interested in, for as many embarkation ports as you care, and eventually you may find something to your liking.

I'll give you another way...Go to http://www.cruisetimetables.com. Choose your departure port. then look at your calendar and find the dates for Thursdays, and click on them. It will tell you who is sailing, and their itinerary. For instance, Carnival Elation sails a 4 day cruise from JAX on alternating Thursdays. EM

I would suggest going into an actual travel agency and tell them what you're looking for (also have time of year, idea of budget, etc.). A TA won't charge you to look for this info and won't charge you a fee to book the cruise. And when you're ready to book another cruise, you can use the same TA, and even recommend him/her to other people as thanks.

A good Cruise Specialist TA, in person email , phone or online , has an automated booking system that can search all cruise lines , from any port , any length , any particular day of the week.

Costs you nothing .

If you book with them , just beware of any agency fee's. Inquire about discounts, OBC's or other amenities that they may offer.
