I recently surprised my wife with a CD that was made online with some of our favorite songs that we've heard on our 18 NCL cruises. The songs may have been played or performed in the dance clubs, at the sailaway parties, at the pier parties, or songs that many of the bands may have performed over our many cruises. How many have you heard while on board?

Lots of Bob Marley and Zac Brown Band! Since mom and I cruise together, we end up listening to a lot of blues and 70s music on the drive to the port...those aren't typical 'cruise' songs, but now I look forward to listening to them because I know a cruise is in my very near future!

I have my own mix of the Dukes of September: Michael McDonald, Box Scaggs and Donald Fagen - a nice mix of songs from their group days (Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan, Steve Miller Band). *Note - the three did a few concerts together a few years ago and called themselves the Dukes of September - one of the best concerts I've gone to - actually flew to DC for a weekend to see it!

 

Eric Clapton - his acoustic and new "old blues" stuff...

 

Oh, and Maroon 5 and my always-good Dave Matthews Band...
