We decided that we would just eat at the Mermaid’s Grille tonight. Patti got this nice night time shot of the funnel…..

This was our dinner for tonight……

IMG_1158-XL.jpg

After eating, the two of us went to the casino to play blackjack. We did not do very well at all. We made our way to the Red Frog Pub to drown our sorrows before going to the 10pm comedy show starring Diane Ford. She was very good as usual.

Tonight’s show in the Taj Mahal was “Viva Variety” featuring the magic of Bobby Borgia. I told you that was the show for last night, but I was mistaken. Last night’s show was the Playlist Production of “88 Keys”. Sorry about that.

After the comedy show we decided to call it a night. This was tonight’s towel animal. We left him hanging there for the duration of the cruise……

We also got our Diamond Invitation…….

Coming up next: Our 2nd sea day, featuring the Diamond Luncheon and Galley Tour, along with dinner at David’s.

Jamman, when we sailed Pride, the gangway was broken and we boarded from the ground. I cruise Pride again in Sept (plus next year) but I have a question regarding the gangway. I've heard that it's very steep in comparison to most and am worried as I have a bum knee. Do you have a picture of it?

Don't have any gangway pictures from this cruise, but I'm sure I have some in my other Pride review. I have two bad knees and I don't have a problem using that gangway for what it's worth. I think you will be fine.

I think that's first time I have seen a non-Carnival corporate ship at Puerta Maya. Interesting!

great so far! I'm keeping an eye out to see if I spot some of my family in your pics as they were on board with you!

Let me know if you spot them!

I am not Jamman54 by an means, but I have flown Delta Comfort from Charleston, SC to Ft. Lauderdale. Our seats had more leg room, and we had free drinks of choice, this did include alcoholic beverages if you like. I would purchase Delta Comfort again.

Have a great cruise.

Thank you!! [emoji2]

Care to elaborate??????:')

Was at Nachi Cocom. Big group doing tequila shots in the hot tub. When we were getting ready to leave, we were walking to get a cab and there is a little concrete that they just painted and it was slick (it was raining). My flip flop slid, I went down with my right foot on about a 45 degree angle. Instant pain. Hobbled into a cab. Hobbled thru the port area to pedicab and they took me from there. Grade 2 tear of my MCL.

We slept in today so there will be no sunrise pictures. We decided that since the Diamond Luncheon is at 11:15am today, we would both skip breakfast. Patti would go to the 10:30am Bingo session while I hung out in the cabin and work on pictures.

As she made her way to the Taj Mahal, she passed the Atrium where a ballroom dancing class was taking place…..

I don't have first hand experience with this situation I can put forth some thoughts. While you and I may think of a B2B as a 14 day cruise in Carnivals business model they are two separate cruises. So from that perspective no you can not use it on the second leg.

I assume you will take possession of bottles not consumed on the first leg. Therefore they will be in your room to enjoy on the second leg. You should not be subject to the corking fee since they were purchased on the ship.

Your thoughts?

Have not done a back to back and also never had any bottles from a package left over. That said I am sure they would roll them over.

We have a B2B coming up in October so maybe we'll find out for sure! :)
