We are cruising on Anthem in May..We cruised on Anthem last year and when we boarded we purchased a 3 nite specialty restaurant deal where you could choose 3 specialty restaurants for around 70-80...I was wondering if they are continuing to have this special this year?

Hi, I am not the OP but have you checked your "my cruise planner" on the RCI website? There are offers for specialty dining that can be pre-booked at a discount. I booked the BOGO for only $30 pp. RCI chooses your first night and you choose your second, but from what I hear, most people are able to change the first if they are unhappy with assignment.

 

OP can add if deeper specials being offered in ship.

Yes, eyeorefan is correct, there are specials online. I will check for any different specials onboard during the week.

Wow people are in North Star already! I so badly want to do this while in Bayonne but have been unable to book on-line for my May sailing. I hope we can get in!

In our cabin:

 

Seems fine roominess wise and seems like more room compared to older balcony cabins to us:

 

 

Desk area has two outlets along with one European outlet and what looks like two USB charging outlets..awesome!

 

 

 

A couch area destined to fill up with everything else but us it seems :)

 

 

Definitely like the color scheme and that may aid in seeming larger size room:

Thanks for the parking info sharonlacey! Mrs S was telling me to remember to save some cash to get out and not lose it all in the casino :) now I know how much to set aside lol.

 

Glad it is enjoyable so far!

Not worth $13+ but as for taste 6 out of 10 sips, decent spice and decent tomato flavor, presentation lacks compared to the picture :)

Packing is done, two stuffed large suitcases and a smaller carry on bag swallowed whole by the plentiful storage.

 

Now walking to try a bit of luck in the

 

 

They have a vintage gum slot machine

 

 

Along with machines that eat way more than gum

 

 

 

Just in case we forget what day it is... but that is why I cruise to forget the days :)

Loving your review Seadog67. Myself, Wife, Daughter and Sister-in-law are on Anthem next Sunday and are really looking forward to it. We love the Freedom and Oasis class ships so we thought we would give the in-between size ship a try.

 

I totally get the luggage issues you had. We are currently packing for our flight out from Scotland on Friday. I'm taking my Kilt for the formal nights which takes up room and weight!! Only 4 days to work.

 

Looking forward to reading your review to keeps us going until we board. Hope you have great weather and a great trip.
