Thoughts on the Breeze (and tons of post-drydock photos)

Do you happen to have high resolution pics of what you're posting?

They were taken on the iPhone, but they are larger than what I have posted. Are there particular pictures you want?

Thanks for sharing your experiences. Wife and I and our three kids leave July 9 on same itinerary. Though I'm not expecting gourmet food, I'm pretty disappointed reading of your dining experiences. We last cruised on the Magic and were fairly pleased (certainly not blown away) by the food. I do remember Lido just being lots of lines, people and so-so food. Look forward to reading your future posts. A couple questions. Did you have to wait long for the Thrill Theater showings? If you spent time pool-side, did you have a hard time getting chairs? (lots of unattended chair saving going on?)

I wouldn't worry. I talk to plenty of Carnival cruisers at my work. VIPs at my casino...they all say Carnival is awesome and the food is great. I'm gonna believe the peeps I talk to

I don't mean to imply that the food was bad. If it was hotter, it would have been better. Most of the items were good. A few items were very good. Everyone's preferences are different. You definitely won't go hungry. I think you'll be fine.

We did not wait long for Thrill Theater showings. Most of them run every 15-30 minutes. The schedule makes it fairly easy to know when to show up. Only once was the showing we arrived for sold out.

For our group of 3, it wasn't bad. We were able to find chairs every time. We may have had to look for a few minutes, but we could find something. There were a lot of chairs occupied by towels.

Thanks for all the great pictures. We sail on July 2nd. I am so excited.

I agree about food, each person has individual tastes, some ships I am blown away by how good and others its so-so. But I am not cooking or cleaning so I will take it LOL.

Have a great time. My son loved it. He's already asking to go back on that ship and go to the Thrill Theater. I was happy with how the pictures came out.

Great reviews. We were on the Breeze on May 14-21st so got off of the ship when you were embarking.

Sorry you missed Flick. For Carnival Cruise shows, it was very good. We saw it last year on the Breeze and had to see it again. So glad they brought it over from the Vista. Missed the magic show.

Yeah, Embarking is a little crazy and one of the main reasons we book the lower decks. Don't have to wait or worry about crowds. Just zip right down to your room and always quiet.

Love the pictures! My intent was to get pictures all over the ship but it didn't work out. Toddlers kept us busy. Glad you had a great cruise! We love the Breeze. Our favorite.

It's definitely one of our favorites. Very different feel from the Pride, which we have also really liked. Once we figured out that the aft elevators were operational, it got easy to get up to Deck 10. I don't understand why they feel the need to shut down more than half of the forward elevators and all of the midship elevators. I understand they are delivering luggage, but it seems like it would make sense to take a little longer and allow more passengers to use the elevators. We hadn't had lunch because we weren't expecting it to take over an hour to get on the ship once we got to the port. After that long wait, making it difficult to get to the Lido made it a bit difficult to stomach, so to speak.

Some quick notes: the scrambled eggs are perfectly awful

I had to laugh when I read this. The scrambled eggs on the ship give me nightmares, lol. I love eggs and tell myself every morning they will be fine, and yep Nope...AWFUL!! I finally caved and decided the wait in line for the omelets was worth it.

Thanks so much for sharing your insights on the ship.

Thanks for the review and photos! I think out of all of your photos, I only saw three people. Very creepy in a strange way. Like a ghost ship!

I definitely made an effort. I was up before 6 and out of the cabin to get those shots. I waited at times for early morning walkers/joggers to move out of the frame.
