ms Eurodam and ms Nieuw Amsterdam in Juneau July 31, 2017

While a zoom would be nice we wouldn't want it too close with the Nieuw Amsterdam approaching. BTW, does anybody know where the webcam guy is. I am guessing they're all controlled from a central facility in Ft. Lauderdale.

I think you probably are right. Wouldn't be very cost efficient to have one at each location.

Is that a public deck on the Eurodam?

 

 

Sometimes they open the doors for access to the area - special viewing events. It's up to the captain - but usually not. But I've never been to Alaska, so it might be more common with her scenery.

I wonder if today's visitors realize how lucky they are to have such a beautiful day.

OMG, is that sun in Juneau? I was beginning to think it wasn't possible. I have been watching my weather app since I booked. Now, I'm from the Wet coast of Vancouver but seriously there wasn't a single day in all of July without rain forecasted. Hallelujah there's hope!!!
