kdawg954 Posted August 30, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 30, 2017 Any tips for flying to San Juan from Southeastern US? Preferred airlines or point of origin for example? Will be my first time to San Juan next May. I booked Southwest because of the 2 free bag perks, nonstop from/to FLL and no change fees if something comes up last second and I need to extend or shorten. Pretty good price at $229 RT. I maybe could of held out for something under $200 RT but with the bag fees attached I don't think I can get much cheaper than what I paid. Rare mitsugirly Posted September 4, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 4, 2017 We fly Southwest also and had a great experience last year flying to SJ. You can't be the free bags. :)
Nola26 Posted September 21, 2017 #7 Share Posted September 21, 2017 Another vote for SW, my usual vacation airline. I'm using SW inbound, but my return is on Delta. Hit up my frequent flyer miles bank to fly home the Sunday after Thanksgiving (cha ching). I've flown a lot for work recently so my Delta status will allow me to check my bags for free. Delta will charge me $150 to make a change on a "free" one way ticket, wow.
