BLONDEDUDE59 Posted October 13, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2017 My Wife, some close friends and I are set to cruise on Adventure of the Seas on its 5/5/2018, 5 Night Eastern Caribbean/Repositioning Cruise to Cape Liberty, NJ. We are seasoned Caribbean Island cruisers, but this is our first cruise north to the New York City Area. Have any fellow cruisers traveled a similar cruise in early May, and I wondered what to expect of the weather and sea conditions in the Atlantic Ocean along this cruise route. easyboy Posted October 13, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 13, 2017 We have cruised before that route during that period and we didn’t experience any rough seas. Others on the RCI Cruises Forum can also share their own experience if you post there https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?83https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?83 Sent from my iPhone using Forums
leaveitallbehind Posted October 13, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 13, 2017 As a seasoned cruiser you know that sea conditions are impossible to predict and will depend primarily on the weather in the area at the given time. There is nothing particularly unique with that area of the Atlantic at that time of the year to suggest any specific issues.
Rare ronrick1943 Posted October 13, 2017 #4 Share Posted October 13, 2017 All true, but it should be cool............
Rare Keith1010 Posted October 13, 2017 #5 Share Posted October 13, 2017 It will likely be on the cooler side but when it comes to weather you never know for sure. Keith

I'd expect it to be a bit too cool for being outside on the pool deck.
