Perthie Posted November 24, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 24, 2017 We will disembark 8.00 to 9.00am, our flight to Dubai is 8.00pm that night, a fourteen hour flight. What to do for a rest before the flight?. We have looked into hotels close by, emailed them, no answer from them. Hotels have check in 2.00-3.00pm and we would need to be at FLL airport by 5.00pm. Does anybody know of any day use rooms so not have to pay the cost of a night? Thank you
Rare LHT28 Posted November 24, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 24, 2017 You could google "day rooms" for FLL there are a few sites that have some hotels with early check in times Eg 10 am

JohninDC Posted November 24, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 24, 2017 Roadway Inn is a budget motel near FLL that often offers day rates for rooms. http://www.between9and5.com is another source that has been suggested on this board - room availability will depend upon the tourist season and demand caused by other events. Rare 4cats4me Posted November 24, 2017 #6 Share Posted November 24, 2017 I can share that the Riverside Hotel on Las Olas accommodated our friends last month We arrived to the hotel at 9:30 am and they had a room ready for us for an overnight stay. Our friends were going to use our room, but they inquired about a day room and were accommodated for $75. This was on a Monday morning and the hotel had plenty of availability. On another occasion we had a reservation there and after disembarking arrived at the hotel around 10:30 am on a Sunday morning during March, a peak period, and even then we were able to get into our room at 10:30. southnam Posted November 25, 2017 #9 Share Posted November 25, 2017 I am staying at sheraton suites Plantation for a few days after our cruise. Cruise arrives back on Saturdays. I tried to book with them for an extra day before so we can arrive at 9 am and check in right away. They said it was not possible and they could not guarantee to have our room ready at 9 am. I kept insisting that I was wiling to pay but they kept insisting that it was not possible. So that's my experience anyhow Sent from my STH100-1 using Tapatalk
